Saw a Mexican guy with an immigration attorney that was there on some unrelated shit. The guy got an open container citation, but his blood test showed no alcohol, so dismissed...and this is where it got interesting. The immigration attorney had had his case pushed back a couple times because the interpreter was busy in another courtroom. The attorney himself spoke Spanish. He asked the court to ignore an expungement and instead document the disposition of the case so that it does stay on his record...but with a disposition of no cause.
Any public defender could have gotten it dismissed. This other guy got this nigga some papers. Smart. Future battles and all that. It's what I would do.

I guess, I've got about four months and two weeks to figure that out. I've gotta get my receipts together because 3k is just way too damn high to be right. I've paid thousands and thousands already, and now they wanna come out of the blue with some bullshit from 2003 that never had anything to do with driving. I only "owe" $4 on the no hunting license. The rest is probation fees and court costs from a misdemeanor possession that I ended up serving anyway because drug court.
It's funny how none of that prevented me from getting my shit back like three years ago. They're not getting three thousand dollars from me. I'll negotiate if they can show me an accurate number.
^lol they can make it an accurate number.. should of paid that a long time ago bro. They are probably tacking on interest to it now.. that and you're in danger of getting arrested with a suspended license..
You might want to get an attorney and try to sue them if you really think you're in the right.
Out of curiosity how long have you been with a suspended license?
