My 5ghz broadband modem makes really loud humming/buzzing sounds

    There actually are various coils and oscillators that can make a high pitched noise in electronics.

    I suppose some hot glue might help, but generally it's easiest just to move the item to where it won't be heard.

    The noise shouldn't affect product life.
