was it the F line? usually people get dragged under it over the car running into another car.. like 1 a month. sometimes 1 or 2 in a week on market street during tourist months or during Christmas.
Not all of San Francisco smells like piss. well actually Maybe most of it does. Even up in Pac Heights I have noticed it a bit. Is it homeless? or is it lots of drunk people and there are next to no public toilets. I think it's homeless and drunk tourist.
certainly there aren't a lot of deer downtown.
Berkeley smells like piss. Deer, Homeless People, Drunks and Jasmine flowers all over the place. all of them smell like piss. or make the area smell like piss. Deers are like rats. i don't see how people go gaga over them. -

They don't tell you about the first waves of them being locals. 1/3rd bailed not so much of rent.. but because many of them owned their homes that weren't worth all that much in the east bay until the last bubble started up. they took the cash and ran, the others were renters and didn't make enough.
a lot of those people who sold their homes in Oakland area were offered money they never thought their homes would ever get. they moved to places like Texas. they're now neighbors of Bill Krozby. buying 3 times the house. -

I always thought the 90s was worse but shit like CNN hyped shit up in the 90s when stats showed things were getting better. the only thing that was crazy in the 90s was the LA riot and all of the school shootings we're seeing today as a new wave.
other than that, it was the birth of the Internet and people were preoccupied with what would eventually because the most invasive intrusion on the US citizens lives (as well as Canada, UK and i'm sure Australia and so on) -
