I just realized I'm a person
-
2016-12-12 at 8 AM UTCI'm experiencing my mind but also walking around like any other human and they also experience their minds. Before right now I think I just thought of my existence as a concept and had no attachment to my physical self.
If you want a fun hobby try visualizing yourself in third person whenever you do something -

It is a profoundly disturbing realization. -
2016-12-12 at 9:11 AM UTCI know in terms of consciousness we live in our brain/mind but the way i imagine myself to be is that my body is the physical extension of my mind in that sense, my body exists to support my consciousness and parts of my brain are devoted to keeping the relatively simpler machinery operating as it should. In effect i see myself as an integrated self sustaining system of being.

I usually feel wit the universe boiii but I often think about how much more enjoyable life would be to have a genuine association with the external world. I'm the type of person who goes outside and thinks the graphics suck. I'm noticing that thinking to myself "You're a human with a name and a face and a body doing something in a house" feels oddly satisfying, like I'm getting out of my own head somehow -

I am glad this provides positive effects for you, it's nice to imagine oneself from a different perspective at times. -
