    You lol, but jail rehabilitated me. The fact the recidivism exists as a phenomenon at all does not mean that rehabilitation doesn't happen. It is not an "all or none" situation. Even if recidivism for a certain subset of criminals was 90%, I'd prefer the 10% who could be rehabilitated go free along with some who can't, to the alternative of needlessly punishing reformed men. 😓
