   yeah I've been watching The Expanse since (I think) mmq mentioned it. the science in it is pretty interesting, though I'm not sure I understand how there can be acceleration G-forces without gravity

   Awesome show. What about that don't you understand though? Like... gravity isn't required for experiencing acceleration. Then again, now that you mention it, I don't understand the physics of precisely why acceleration creates G-forces. 🤔
   
   Were you under the impression that acceleration multiplied how much you felt the natural gravity of Earth? Because you can totally experience acceleration G-forces in any direction including sideways or up even here on Earth.

   something like that, I guess I just never thought that hard about it. I guess it makes sense if you consider inertia and the liquid in your body getting compressed
