   This is actually a sign of the beginnings or renal failure. The increasingly yellow color is from lower levels of urochrome, the substance that is responsible for urine's yellow color, which is being produced in greater amounts and becoming more concentrated due to the damage done to the internal organs, and chronic dehydration, commonly caused by alcohol use.
