and yeah i agree its just stupid now. it was cool the first couple times but it's lame now.

it was never cool. It's disrespectful to Mother nature, It's human arrogance at its worst... it's a place humans are not supposed to be.

mother nature should be fucked in her cunt till the cum drips out her ears. humans should violate every single barrier this dimension has to offer until we find another dimension or plane of reality to penetrate with glistening megaphallic technofuckers.

raping what is thought possible and what mother nature thought was safe is the god damned definition of cool.

very little air to decompose it is my guess.. between the cold and that, it's going to decompose but take many decades to do so.

It isn't an easy climb, people do die, and it takes a lot of time and effort to make it there regardless of how commodified/commercialized the endeavor has become. *shrug*

Why they leave the dead bodies:

the air is to thin to do much. you could drag them on the way down I suppose but still it could be deadly for you or a group to exhaust every breath in doing so. It's very difficult to fly a helicopter up there with such thin air.

i imagine if a deceased climber’s family members had the money to hire a climbing team to go get their loved one, they might.

A friend of mine was trying to train for it.

After a year or so she called it off though because neither she nor her boyfriend were anywhere near the level of physical fitness required (at the very least, each being able to haul the other a set distance in case they were injured).

I wonder how many people who go up there even think about that

I once overestimated my own stamina just swimming out to a buoy and back at Detroit Lakes. Twas a tad bit farther away than it seemed looking from shore. All my energy gave out about half way back and for a few moments I considered the realistic possibility that I was gonna drown right there and that's how I die.

Fortunately I'm not completely retarded and resorted to floating on my back for a while to regain energies and make it safely back ashore.

floating is great. How were the waves? Did that make it difficult to breath without swallowing semen?

I seen in an article somewhere that "green boots" disappeared along the trail. It's believed that his family paid a team to go up and throw his corpse off a ravine or something... Guess they didn't like him being a land mark for people climbing and takimg pics with and shit.

Taking the body down would be next to impossible. They just got him off the main way up I guess to preserve some of his dignity or something. At least thats what I read. I could be wrong or mistaken but check it out before taking my word, just something I recall from like... Last year.
