Ive read so far "Say in your head I am going to lucid dream as you're falling asleep" and "Try to put your finger through your hand throughout the day to get used to checking whether or not you are dreaming".
Also there's supplements that I don't care about because my dreams are strong as fuck anyway.

I just move each finger on my left hand individually whenever I remember to
It becomes a habit and its impossible to do while sleeping, so if you can't do it you know you're dreaming
I usually get too excited and just end up with sleep paralysis though

The problem is, I never actually like, "Have control" when I'm dreaming. Whatever I do is simply scripted, like I'm a video game character being controlled by myself I guess. I don't know how I would be able to do things independently from the script, like moving my fingers.

Melatonin makes my dreams evil and threatening. I don't need help getting VIVID dreams, I already have that from tramadol. I need to figure out how I can control my actions within my dreams instead of being an NPC.

when you wake up write down everything you can remember from your dreams in as much detail as you can and then read it several times through out the day reliving it. Keep doing that and it will happen. I used to practice this when I was younger.
