people are dying because it's so crowded and hikers can't pass slower hikers because of the weather or some shit so essentially if you're stuck behind a slow climber who is going to die then you are also going to die. it's gotta be probably the most infuriating way to die. i get ragey as fuck just when people are in the way on the sidewalk, and that's not a life or death matter.

Today I learned that this year, 10 people died onMount Everest, more people than ever, due to long lines and overcrowding. Apparently people rarely die on that shit to where 10 people dying this year is a record.

Why doesn't elon musk rent a spot on the top and build a Space X type device to drop people off.. walk around for a bit and then climb back into Space X and hope they get back down safely with AI launch&steer mode
