   I hope it will be avoided. But it will probably occur the moment the US and the military industrial complex have deluded themselves into thinking they can intercept the majority of Russia and China's nuclear deterrent. Mutually Assured Destruction is a good doctrine as long as everyone you're dealing with is a rational entity.

   I don't know when but it will definitely involve China. The cause will be over expansion and fight over remaining resources. I have nothing against the Chinese from a racial standpoint, but I strongly believe the threat they pose is heavily underestimated.

   Not many countries are going to fall behind Iran. Russia will but only to say, "LEAVE IRAN ALOOOOONE" then do nothing. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and just about every other state will back the US along with Israel.

    I posted a bunch about it in here, but basically:
    
    1. Neither side can afford a war but neither will back down
    2. The longer this posturing goes on the more likely it becomes that someone who DOES want a war (ie. israel or certain groups in the US) will stage a false flag attack to escalate
    3. China and Russia would have to get involved if war breaks out; they've been quietly holding strategic talks over this
    4. There's no winning for either side, regardless of who loses the most lives and hardware the entire middle east dissolves into chaos, petrol economy crashes and burns etc., much of the world economy will follow
