This has always been one of my favorite scenes in the series. The volatile chemistry is palpable throughout, and I think it's symbolically important that both of them are nude. Ramsay Bolton is portrayed as uncharacteristically rational by comparison to Miranda, and I'm pretty sure the writers only achieved this by adding a woman.

Best episode/ scene, sent shivers down my spine.

The courageous underdog leading from the front, resigned to his fate.

    How GOT ends:

Dani sacrifices herself so John can become Azar Arhai and use the sword to defeat the night king. He also dies in the process of defeating them. Beric gives his life for Dani who is resurrected and pregnant with Jon's child.

She dies in childbirth and Tyrion is made regent over the Stark/Targaryan heir to the Iron Throne.

    The End

The last bit I have a feeling will come to fruition. If there's any underdog that has been through as much shit as Dani & Jon it's Tyrion. Despite being a Royal Hand for the second time, he hasn't been given the true recognition he deserves and I think being elevated to regent is more than a fitting end for "The Imp".

He'll also be backed by other elevated nobility. House Baratheon will be led by a legitimized Gendry. Jaime will die essentially leaving Tyrion as defacto head of House Lannister. Sansa will lead House Stark. Other noble houses will be created to replace the extinct ones, Tyrells etc.

I have a feeling Theon will get his dick back via magic.Maybe the red lady will help with that? Yara will die and convince Theon to lead the Iron born now that he has balls, no pun intended.

As for Bran the Night King theory is still possible!

Despite being wheelchair bound he'll be given chain mail exactly like the Night King's. Someone will pin a good luck Sigil on his chest exactly the same as what you see on the NK, formenting his 2nd to final transition to the leader of the dead.

I'm still at a loss as to how he can BECOME NK but then again it's not to say the future cannot be changed as already proven, i.e. "Hodor, Hodor!"

Apparently GOT has already happened. The intro with the birdseye view of Westeros is a sort of epilogue to Sam's book.

I believe the ending will be Gilly asking Sam what he'll call his book prompting him to say, "A Game of Thrones".

The first seasons of GOT felt so authentically Irish/English, but the later seasons feel so Hollywood/jedi. The stuff in the first seasons was so interesting and special because it was the sort of thing we had never seen before - it just felt like it was something we hadn't seen before. The latest season is all reused tropes - like the bits where John Snow beats various inexplicable baddies.

Meh Battle of the bastards was the best episode ever in my opinion.

Jon and Dani's final scene reminded me of Obi wan and Annakin:
