Full disclosure: I actually do kinda keep track of my "steps."
I've put on some weight recently and am working on losing it.
All those in the know are aware that weight is managed in the kitchen, not the gym. So that's where I meticulously track things.
But walking a few miles/kilometers a day can help just a bit. -

Anyone I've ever known that has lost weight has never done so by counting steps. Not that it doesnr happen that way sometimes but I just think at the end of the day you just do your business and lose weight if you really want to. I dont think it's a coincidence that the people who have always talked about counting steps always happen to be fat. And they stay fat. But they got their steps in for the day! -

Oh I know. They're always the first people to claim that their "step tracker is inaccurate / broken."
Weight loss takes a more holistic approach.
I lost 100 lbs so I know.
I gained back a percentage of it, and I'm trying not to be one of those cliche's that boomerang back up.
Being a nightly drinker definitely makes things harder. But I have known daily drinkers who aren't fat, so I know it's not an exculpatory excuse. -

I lost a bunch of weight once and I also didnt drink at the time. Metabolism is definitely a big factor as I also know some big time alkies that are trim and fit.
Everything I do is stupid. Beer. Pizza. Cigs. I'm a fucking sack of shit. Haha. It's all about momentum and stuff. I've always smoked but I havent always drank beer and ate unhealthily. When I was in a health groove it built upon itself exponentially. I was doing pushups at work and eating egg whites and being a weird faggot but it felt good. Then I lost track of it all and got baxn to a shit routine.
I need to go back to eating egg whites. I'm gonna get a fit bit tomorrow and change my life back around. Tomorrow. I'll do it tomorrow.
