How is that not dangerous to humans?

I remember using an aerosol can and lighter to cremate ants between my cupboard and cooker when I was like 13. I could have blown the house up.
That has to be the most Autistic thing I have ever done in hindsight.
Apart from when I asked my dad, "What's the point in joining the army if you get shot and die?". - Octavian, aged 12.
He told me to shut the fuck up and not ask such dumb questions.
I always remember praying that he would die whenever he spoke to me like that.

I like the ones where you put the ant attractant goop and they come to it and take it back to their lair and share it with the other ants and everyone dies

Actually inhaling diatomaceous earth isn't a great idea. Silicosis isn't fun. That is also why you have to be careful when making clay sculptures, because clay always has silica dust in it.
