I was "permabanned" for two years on Zoklet, after Lanny banned me, but I was easily able to post every single day regardless. I never hid it either. It was like, "Hi! It's me!" That's why banning should always be a very last resort. Lanny likes to say I would ban half the userbase, but that's not true. I've always been of the opinion banning has to be a last resort, because I always knew it's nothing more than a bandaid "solution". Much better to work it out with the user face to face, rather than slinking around in the shadows with a temporary-ban button. There are many other ways to resolve a problem situation without having to use any force at all, but Lanny never learned this lesson. He's just going to continue right on with his bull-in-a-China-shop MO that never works, with his "lol"s and "ubnans" and assorted silly, meaningless "replies". -

Now he's come back with alts and just spams shit day in and day out, what incentive does he have to unban his old account? None. He's doing the same shit that got him permabanned in the first place. What makes him think that he'll stop doing it once unbanned? I don't blame him for not unbanning his old account.
This isn't totse, or zoklet, or any other forum. This is NiS, and Lanny is the captain of this space craft. If he doesn't want to have someone post, then he's got that right. If you dont like how it's run, post else where. Lanny has made it clear that he doesnt care about traffic.
This isn't a democracy. He doesn't have mods for a reason, and I'm glad for that. I think he runs shit pretty good. I don't agree with everything he does but he does things fairer than most would. I was sick of Infinitycuck for a long time before the shit since all he did was derail threads and post about being gay and wanting to rape and fuck people. I'm glad he finally was banned. Most people wouldnt have waited so long as Lanny did to permaban him. -

On two separate occasions I cut short finny's bans after he promised to not do what got him banned in the first place. He made it a week or two then started doing the exact same thing again and got salty after I warned (not banned) him and started spamming. Hell, if I had any faith he wouldn't immediately do the same thing again I'd unban him right now. But the guy has such thin skin that he's constitutionally incapable of seeing something he doesn't agree without collapsing into a babbling puddle of cringy rape jokes that details any and all threads he participates in. -
