I have a habit of using it as a urinal cause it serves more than one purpose.
Anyways, it fucking smells real bad of Ammonia? I regularly flush various soapy liquids to remove the smell normally but I was about to stick bleach down there this time and thought I might gas myself. It got me thinking is it possible even to die from doing this?
It smells pretty concentrated, enough to prompt me to ask.

I added bleach to ammonia one time outdoors. Nothing happened as far as I could see. The whole idea that bleach + ammonia = massive clouds of chlorine gas, wafting over the city, killing everyone, is a little over-stated in my view.

Vent component in your sink or p-trap clogged. Gases are coming back up. Easy to take apart and fix. Unless sinks where you at are designed differently.

If you smear a bunch of shit over your body beforehand it acts as a protective layer against any harmful toxins.

BTW I bet I could make a billion dollars selling double U vents. Because smell working it way back up to you through water you already flushed is apparently a real thing.
