InfinityShock, Asshole or Misunderstood FuckUp?

1. unban everyone
2. create a reasonable rule-set
3. apply the rule-set evenly and fairly and justly to everyone
The way it is now, there aren't any rules, no matter what kind of drivel to the opposite Lanny likes to spew. The lack of definition allows Lanny lots of leeway to play favorites, get rid of people he doesn't particularly like, and get "payback" for every time someone insults him. Right now, the board is setup to favor arbitrary behaviors, as Lanny has thoroughly evidenced for us all. Why not play fair, instead of trying to ram a square peg into a round hole? -

And that, in itself, is the real problem. Even zok, as stubborn and pig-headed as he was, agreed to the "Armistice" I drew up, involving poast-bortem! and others who were unfairly permabanned. Zok had repeatedly swore up and down poast would never be unbanned, and yet he relented and agreed to the armistice arrangement. And guess what? There were no problems with poast-bortem! or any of the once-permabbed users, and the change ended up enriching and expanding and benefitting the BBS as a whole. With Lanny, he puts his gigantic ego well in front of the best welfare of the BBS. He goes on and on and on, blah, blah, blah, about how bad and evil infinityshock is, but that's all just a lark. A convenient smokescreen for his own out-of-control ego. I see through the bullshit. I always have. I'm right. Lanny is wrong, no matter how much bullshit he and his lapdogs spew.

Honestly, I think that Lanny would unban him.... if he were able to demonstrate that he can coexist without acting like a child and spewing his tard rage over the forums. Even 2 weeks i imagine.
Serious question Spec....since youve been around for a loooooooong time and clearly have the know how, and you care that much about free speech and neutrality, why not start a forum? -

Infinityshock isn't the only one who "spews tard rage". There are others. Must I provide solid examples? Because I can. And yet you don't see those members permabanned. It has to be fair. It has to be balanced. It has to be congruent. The only reason infinityshock is doing what he's doing is because he feels his case was treated unfairly. And I think he's right. It used to be that members could contest bans. There was a process. Even though we had dictators, there was still a process. And there were times when it was fully agreed, through the process, and through a closer and more honest examination of the rules, that mistakes were made. But what do we have here? A hazy, smokey, almost paranormal babble of nonsense Lanny likes to call rules. With him as the sole head arbitrator? Really?? Where is the process? Where is the appeal? I've been around long enough to know Lanny is in the wrong on this here one. He should unban all those involved, create a solid, clear, concise, spelled out, direct, legible, determinant rule set. Predominantly post said rule set in a public place. If people don't agree with such clear and defined BBS laws, they are free to go elsewhere. No surprises. If they decide to stay and abide by such rules, and then go ahead and break any such rule, their punishment would be, after systematic review, fully deserved. Let aldra make the rules. Does anyone think aldra would post unfair rules, or not make them clear?

they did this for the most part on the death addict forum. unbanned everyone. only 2 rules from what i've seen no bestiality and no personal attacks on fellow members. strange no cp rule though from what i can see. i guess thats just a minor oversight on there....Jesus fucking christ! -

For the first time I actually have to agree with Spectral. Although, to be fair, Lanny has never claimed to be a fair admin, and niggas has always just been a place for him to chill with his friends.
As far as people shitposting goes, it never used to be a problem, and still wouldn't be if it was simply contained to Half Baked. -
