Imagine seeing the shower scene during the "innocent days" of hollywood. or it's last days of that era. 1960 I think the film came out. just coming out of the 1950s with the Cleaver family and Beavs silly antics, while some woman is getting stab to death through a shower curtain that make people cringe to this very day. a bit of a dichotomy on a level not seen in these corrupted times. -

Hitchcock revolutionized cinema, his pacing and building is phenomenal too. Around that time, film was a progression of a medium from a book. Now films are taken from other films which is good in a way for a jaded audience but truly new revolutionary ideas don't happen as often anymore
