I don't know if this is USA only or all-world

My town is rank of 16 (100 being safest) which is decent for California but bad in USA standards

San Francisco gets a 2 (Who knew it was that bad?) and Detroit Mi gets a 2

Oakland is a 1. 1 is the worse you can get. Oakland seems so up and coming though.

    Go here
    https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/

    Type in your city

then when the city pops up, click the "Crime" button below.

I would think all nations have one for nation wide data-base. They used to be illegal in California for real estate agents to look up but the internet is global resource so now you can look this info up.

    Chilliwack wasn't even on there.

    But my hometown (Surrey) was...

    62.59.

    Not too surprising.

    Vancouver is 36.29.

Surrey is literally double (just about).

    The rumors are all true.

if you put in the zip or area code it does that if you put in the city and state it shows for free

you got an 11 .. not bad I guess for a texas city but still bad. it's better than Oakland and SF by being safer

yeah I think just about all of the posted cities should be a lot closer to 100

if a city really were 2/100 in terms of safety you wouldn't be able to leave the house without getting robbed, raped, murdered and raped again

Neiborhoods are so closed in that sometimes it is hard for perpetrators to conduct a crime. Too many witnesses(neighborhood watchers) and undercover officers hanging around. Well, that’s my perspective on this. Most criminals don’t care and still commit the crime anyways. That’s New york for ya, haha.

Mine is 11, which can't be right.

We're right between two large cities, so it seems crowded but nobody actually lives here

Still 1 for Oakland and 2 for San Francisco isn't hurting real estate much. running neck and neck for NYC is San Francisco and Oakland is still 2-3+ times the National Average

Pay More, Safety less should be the motto

St. Paul, where I live, is a 7 and Minneapolis is a 3. Crime is really bad here for some reason even though TC is generally a pretty ritsy titzy place.
