Anyone still get nightmares?
-
2019-04-28 at 3:01 PM UTCI do whenever I quit drinking, had my last drink was thursday, I feel a lot better, but damn I had a bad nightmare last night. I would wake up and try to go back to sleep and then id fall into same nightmare again. Last I dreamt I was a fox running around in the woods fighting other animals, brutally. I died several times. got reincarnated again and I was an older gont, like mid 50's or so sippin a bottle of whatever and some lady put on a wolf mask and started chasing me.
the night before I had a weird dream that turned into a nightmare, I was a kid like 16 years old doing drugs with other kids, and then they turned on me, I went to reach for a lighter on the floor and some cholo stomped on my hand and was smushing it, not even lookig at me, just staring of dead-eyed. thats something also I noticed about these nightmares all the people have this unnatural look to their eyes. kinda weird. anyways I started running but these children of the corn kids were running out of their houses chasing me.
so anyone here had any nightmares lately? we're gonna have nightmares OOoooh Ooooh! -
2019-04-28 at 3:24 PM UTCOnly when i take melatonin. Otherwise i barely dream. Melatonin gives me vivid ass reality bending dreams tho. Sometimes I'm not sure if im awake or not during them. Had a few inception like nights where i had sleep paralysis in my dreams and kept waking up again and again and again.

2019-04-28 at 5:31 PM UTCAbout a week or two after I stop smoking weed I would have strange dreams.
Tramadol also gives me lucid dreams but really good ones. -

2019-04-28 at 9:09 PM UTCI get them, sometimes they wake me up. No point talking about them. Dreams are for fags. Running around as a fox in the woods sounds cool though.

yeah but I've heard that most people grow out of them for the most part. I'm not everyone so I wouldn't know thats why I was asking. I have really weird dreams or completely mundane ones that make it seem like im doing ordinary things like making a pot of coffee in the morning or talking to someone in bed that im sleeping with ect..
I only get them when I quit drinking these days.
I guess I was just more so wondering what other peoples "themes" are. I have specific themes. Like getting chased by cats, little cats and big ones, my teeth falling out, and falling/ sinking into the floor when trying to walk.
Though one of the ones sinknig into the floor ones, i was in a dirty bathroom, shit everywhere and I was trying to get out and I was walking but kept slipping and sinking.. it was pretty stressful but it turned out good, an angel, a girl I knew, wasn't attracted to her because she seemed like a granny in a young womans body but an old soul, that gave me her hand and I was able to walk. It's stuck with me for years. -

2019-04-29 at 12:09 AM UTCMaybe once a year I have a dream that's so fucky I'd classify it as a nightmare. Last one I had there were like... bodies in the crawlspace, and I could smell them rotting and I was freaking out about it and trying to rebury the bodies or something. I dunno. Absolutely fucked on multiple levels and kind of traumatizing in an existential way because I've never smelled a rotting corpse in real life but I woke up feeling like I knew exactly how they smell, like in some life... on some level... the dream was real. Scared me. :/
