Do you think it is unethical or immoral to name your child something crazy?

I do, depending on what it is. Nobody is for instance going to hate on a child named Dovahkiin. It's a badass sounding name to anybody who doesn't know what it's from. Kids don't have a way to make fun of it really unless they start throwing skyrim quotes at them, which would be hilarious. "Do you get to the cloud district often? Oh what am I saying, of course you don't."

But there are some other names that are going to either get your kid picked on or fuck them over from having anything beyond a career at McDonalds. When I was in charge of hiring at my old job we actually dismissed an application as a joke because the dude's name was like Oogieboogadiggie or something really fake sounding. He did end up getting hired after calling, but he was cleaning bathrooms so that doesn't really say much.

I feel like a lot of people just completely fuck over their children before they're even given a chance. If you get made fun of in school at a young age, that shit sticks for life. It effects how people grow up. It will change the way people treat your child forever unless they change their name. I mean, you ever wonder why there are no CEOs named Precious? It's because it's a trashy ass name. I'm not saying it's right to discriminate based on name, but this is the world we live in. Children deserve reasonable names so that they can have a fair shot at life.
