Taiwanese garbage trucks are classy as shit

   So most garbage trucks just come by and pick up your trash and recyclying, right?
   
   In Taiwan the garbage trucks play classical music and everybody COMES OUT of their home to dump the trash. These trucks come by several times a day. The bags are sorted by color, which is standardized around the whole nation of Taiwan. IIRC, pink is for regular trash, blue is for recycling, and then clear is for food waste. May have those mixed up but you get the idea.
   
   Depending on your area, there are also different days for different things. For example, on Monday and Wednesday maybe you can recycle glass and styrofoam, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays you're only supposed to recycle paper. Obviously you can put whatever you want into the truck, but it's still pretty cool. Taiwan has some of the best rates of recycling in the world thanks to this system.
   
   There are also next to no trash cans in public. People just throw their trash out at home. Somehow this keeps the streets clean. Japan has a similar thing.
   
   Really cool though to see the entire block come out to throw out their trash, like some big community event. In this one they just have one truck but usually they have two or three trucks for the different colored bags. Pretty cool system. And yes, every single one of them plays music. Some play fun tunes like the one below, but others play Bach and Mozart and shiet

   When I was a kid I saw a garbage truck driving by with this song blaring and it was the funniest thing I ever saw. I thought they were listening to a rock song about being garbage men.
