How could you still support a traitor?

  1. Originally posted by playingindirt since trumps campaign the whole country seems to be in disarray. it's been pretty hard to ignore. so I began doing enormous amounts of research not just on trump and his background but on the federal budget proposals, the tax breaks, bills being passed, immigration and more than I've ever wanted to know about any of it especially trump & politicians.
people that elected him don't seem to realize the long term consequences of his actions and his presidency.

donald trump is inflicting wounds on this nation that may, in fact, never heal. republicans who have enabled him in that endeavor, at the local, state and national levels, are unlikely to be looked kindly on by history.

I have found no words that better sum up what has happened to our country and the republican party since donald trump took the stage than those spoken by maine republican senator margaret chase smith back in 1951.

had your founding fathers knew the longterm consequences of granting you a second amendmemt they never would have agreed to it.

I think they knew that there would be people that would try to put their freedoms and rights above the freedoms and rights of others & try to change the constitution.
I think it was stated correctly. americans have the right to protect themselves and be armed to do it.
some argue those rights weren't intended for citizens to own guns.
    I disagree.
personally I think the constitution is well written.

our freedoms and rights were not just for us but that we are to cherish & uphold those same freedoms and rights of others.
upholding the same freedoms and rights of others is as important as your own rights because if theirs can be taken so can yours.

the problem today is there are people all about their freedoms and rights that they think it gives them the right to put their rights above the same freedoms and rights of others. it doesn't. some will go as far as to use those rights in an attempt to abuse the rights of others and trying to change the constitution or say it means something other than it's been written.

thats the thing, its an illusion of being able to protect themselves.

not the actual ability to do so.

I think the concept of whether we're able or unable to protect ourselves or even how free we actually are depends on your "point of view. "

you think you're ability to protect yourself would be greater if we didn't have constitutional rights? or if you weren't living in a civilization having different dangers?

depending on which aspect you're looking at, the constitution is in a sense is like a two edged sword of power. it can be used to cause great harm or used to bring about great positive charge.

my personal perspective is we're all either victims or winners of a society ruled by money and power and our constitutional rights for the most part is our saving grace.

Hillary and the Dems would have already destroyed the entire country by now, started wars, shipped out the last of the jobs overseas, made deals across the planet with enemy nations, and would have created a civil war as well. Just keep that in mind when you judge Donald Trump.

Hillary would have made invasion deals with enemy nations. Like, Arabs, to flood America with, for her globalist handlers in the New World Order.

Not in these numbers. Do the math. It's an invasion, not a welcoming committee.
