    I'm viewing the site in 1080p at the moment and there's a LOT of wasted space that could be occupied by the BBS.

    Yeah, this is something I've gone back and forth on a bit. I use large displays and it usually ends up looking like this:



    totse celtic knot thing is nice and all but that's a lot of real estate to give to it. The reason you don't really want to push the margins out all the way is that reading multi-line text where the lines are super long is tough. For example try reading this page at full window width on a big monitor. It's painful.
