Body buildy / health thread

    Okay well, this thread is for tips on health and body building. I'm not looking to be a big muscle dude to impress girls or anything like that. I'm wanting to get toned up to help my back problems. I realized recently that over the last year I've gotten fat, I've gotten a big beer belly. This girl I've been seeing for awhile now, I don't know if shes my gf or not. But she sent me a gift through the mail. A cannibal corpse t-shirt and new underwear. She wanted me to take a picture of me in the underwear she bought me as we can't always hang because she lives in the next town over and works a lot. I took the picture and realized that I'm kinda fat, yet still skinny and it looks weird lol

    I guess all those beers and pizza finally caught up to me. So today is my first day that I'm not going to drink, i love drinking but I need to kool it a bit and switch to wine or liquor. But anyways I'm going to go without beer for a week.
    People say just quit eating carbs to lose belly fat, but almost everything is carbs...

    I've worked out off and on, but I've always at some point dropped the ball and just got lazy.

    I don't have money to go to a gym right now, but I do have 2 sets of dumbells 15lbs and 25lbs.

    I do flys on the floor and I use my bass amp as a weight bench. And I do calisthenics.

    what does your workout and diet consist of?

    For your information:

    A 12-ounce glass of beer has about 150 calories, a 5-ounce glass of red wine has about 125 calories, and a 1.5 ounce shot of gin, rum, vodka, whiskey or tequila has about 100 calories, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

    I like to drink too but not every day and not to excess. Try cutting it back, drink lots of water and if you need to catch a buzz try just smoking a small amount of weed. It will help.

    I don't exercise at all, my job keeps me up and fairly physically active all day, but for you I would recommend just work with what you have and try the basic exercises you learned in school when you were young. Look them up online if your memory requires refreshment. Remember to stretch, it's good for you.

    Try to cut back on the garbage foods, eat more vegetables and follow the health and nutrition guide:

    Yeah I like to smoke but only do it once or twice a month cause thats all I can. I think that's partially why my drinking amped up over the last couple of years. What kind of work do you do?

    I'm starting to get fat. In the new year I'm guna go on a healthy living kick and get a few grams of amphet to lose weight.

    Shouldn't take more than 2 or 3 weeks, if that
