This guy I know told me he wants to go fight for the YPG (he won't actually do it, he just likes living a fantasy) and showed me some article about this anti-fascist american dude who went and died fighting for the the YPG. The website had a bunch of shit about fighting the fascists in ISIS and white supremacists and shit.
I don't get it. Why do they support the YPG? ISIS are fascists, but they're already fighting a shitload of groups including america, and you'd think they would fight somewhere else, like for palestine or some shit. Is it just that they're the same type of people who go into the military and want to fight, but just hate america?

JIDF Controlled Opposition
because they're idiots, in short
kurds are seen as the most 'progressive' group in the region and they're fighting some of the most fundamentalist and least 'tolerant'. as far as 25 year olds who want to get into a fight but have bought into popular leftist morality, that's a winning combination
