How Pissed Should I Be?

    Long story short...

I was driving down the street. A 16 year old girl crashed into me. Completely her fault. Now she is saying that I turned into her. My insurance company is saying its word-vs-word.

On a scale of 1-16, how pissed should I be?

Um, no, it's what the police report says. The officer who came to the scene should be able to look at the damages and tell who is at fault.

Comprehensive insurance is irrelevant to the nature of the accident.

About a year ago, I switched from full coverage to liability...

No police came because no one got hurt.

Dude.... that was a critical error on your part. I've never heard of police not coming to an accident... but if that's true, you should have called them to the scene. Now you have no third objective Party 2 buffer your story.

depends where you live. sometimes the cops don't have time for that stuff if its not serious. and will just tell you to trade insurance info and take pictures and an insurance adjuster could also potentially come out and view the damage themselves.

I just went to an autobody shop and they said it'd be about $2000-$3000 to repair. I did take pictures of both vehicles. The thing is, after looking at the pictures, I could see how they could twist it and make it look like it's my fault.

He mom showed up and let me take a picture of her daughter's provisional license that oh course had their address on it...

man I'm not sure what state you're in, but If you get some kinda quote like that from a body shop im sure they will look into it more. What exactly happened again?

Also was the girl crying a lot after you confronted her? You both are probably bad drivers / made a mistake weren't being safe.
