We try to hold them to impossible standards in the way they raise their kids - watching them all the time, never letting them out of sight, etc. Even though it used to be normal enough to let kids ride their bikes all over the place nowadays that's suddenly verboten.
And it's pretty normal for kids to want to sleep with mom up to a fairly old age, like 5 or so, and you've just got to deal with the fact that often-times mom's boyfriend also wants to be close to those boobies too.
It's no wonder so many people are opting out of having kids altogether.
All this pressure on parents isn't healthy and it isn't sustainable. -

pretty much this my daughters mom refused to spank mary sue in a khols because there was (as she said verbatim on fb) that there were too many "whyte people" in the store so she couldn't discipline our daughter despite my daughters mother being whyte.. only to have my daughters grandmother chime in on fb about how she doesn't believe in spankings yet go's on to talk about how she hit my daughter for climbing on the back of the couch...

95% of our residents were immobile and had to be lifted towards the end so instead of waiting 5 minutes for them to get up partially on their own I just fucking picked em' up and sat em' down. Close to my last day someone they never let me let her sleep in, which is an ethical practice, made me get her up at 6:00 A.M. everyday and she had alzheimers and hated being woke up that early, would always fight and kick me and resist getting up with all her might.
2nd to last day I think I was sick of it and just fucking picked her legs up and dropped them back down on the bed with some force to try to get her to stop fucking kicking me. I was in the brunt of my xanax withdrawal coming completely off almost. I was ever sleeping and actively hallucinating; hearing shit and seeing shit and basically having d/t's and almost seizing sometimes, writhing in pain and felt like I was gonna drop dead any minute. Was doing PCP as a painkiller on the job as well, and nodding out on T-PAIN to also deal with the pain. They said nothing, even when I was zombie nodding while walking patients for several months.
They heard us struggling from out in the hall and when I was done dressing her and bringing her out in the hall she was still fussing and someone who probably heard me said "hahaha, what did you do to her?" in a facetious manner, and I laughed it off as if she were joking to shut her up basically.
That place is fucking hell and the people that work there are the scourge of the earth and someday I'm going to write a google review about all the awful shit they do there and maybe call the state too, both anonymously, to try to get the place shut down. Somebody who use to work there left a nasty google review about them, but recently I saw it got changed to something like "good people, 5 stars", so I'm thinking they paid him off. -
