it doesn't actually suck, you just have nostalgic feelings about your old music and are not self aware enough to realize the obvious bias. literally every single generation (and all the sub groups that it's composed of) thinks their music is the best. do you honestly think that your particular ~15-20 years of music was the best of ALL TIME? especially when you can easily observe that everybody else has this same opinion about their style of music? -

because they're unwilling to recognize the obvious bias they give to their own generation. there's nothing stopping you from dismissing it once you admit that it's there, then you can enjoy every generations music and not sound like a retard in youtube comment sections at the same time. -
