In this household we share.

   Jaclyn and I have been teaching her daughter Francesca how its important to share. Sharing builds solidarity a mutual respect for man kind and your loved ones. It brings you closer to your family. Jackie, Francesca, and I all 3 sleep in the same bed, under the same comforter, on the same pillow. We bought a body pillow so we can all fit on it easier. But if we didn't have one we'd still share it anyways.
   
   Everyone gets the same amount.
   
   One night Jackies friend came over and we all drank the same amount of beer and she ent up staying over because she was too drunk to drive and we weren't going to make her sleep on the couch, we shared our bed with her because she is our friend.
   
   So how about you guys as far as how you run your household?

    Sharing is one step on the path of going against materialism. I think that's the best lesson to teach a child.
    
    It's cute having a kid write a letter to santa about what material things they want but I dont think it's a healthy mentality.

    I agree with that. Growing up my parents were fairly well off, definitely not poor, but my parents didn't spoil us like other kids parents. I child can get bitter over certain things like that but I believe now that it was for the best.
