   hahaha, actually no, it just popped up because i buy rice on amazon otherwise i either need to buy shitty white person rice or have to drive all the way to the asian grocery store which is way out of my way these days

   shorter grains taste better, probably because they hold more moisture. they'll sell this type as "sushi rice" in normal grocery stores but it's usually like 4x the price of buying this rice, and it will be especially cheap if you have an asian grocery store nearby
