Keep in mind, there are a lot of drug-addled law enforcement types here, and they're nosy. They're too lazy to put down their crack pipes to bust you, but they talk, and they're curious. Best be warned. Never share even the tiniest detail of personal information here. In the old days, we'd even ban people who posted their own personal information, because we knew it was that kind of environment which quickly murders off a good BBS.
At one time, our community even had a Global Moderator who was a self-professed cop, who even posted pics of himself in full uniform. Unwyred was his name. A fucking cop ran the boards. Ok'd by zok himself.
