i used to go to na meetings when i was 16 w my gf because her mom thought it would be cool, those real junkies didn't want us there for the most part but they were total losers. anyways, by 18 i was doing a buncha coke and thought i had a problem so i went to the korean christian church to ca meetings.
now i know what that album title the 13th step means by apc... this guy introduced himself to me at the end of the meeting and new i was poor and hungry and took me out to sonic and said he'd be my sponsor.. little did i know because i was naive at the time to what older men want and he took me to park by the water off lamar and we were walking around talking and we stopped and he giggled and was staring at me and said that he likes my hair.. I didn't get raped or give that asshole up but it was pretty creepy, ent up getting him to drop me off at a different apartment complex across the st from me.

i mean, that's literally like half the reason I plan on going to them.
I went to a buddhist meeting last night, and that was actually pretty dope. Plan on hitting one of those once a week.

I went to a few NA meetings with an ex girlfriend to support her because she didn't want to go on her own...what a fucking joke they are, they glorify it, they had this ex whore giving a speech about her experiences and how drugs lead her to being a prostitute...most of the speech was about weird shit her clients would have her do and all the other druggies lapped it up.
At the end they asked if there were any questions and I ask "How does any of this help addicts?"..they didn't like my question.

my mom is alcoholics anonymous and it helped her a lot she used to be pretty crazy and kicked me out in -40c weather when I was 16 in the middle of the night and I broke into someones RV in arbor lake and there was a bottle of vodka in there and I got drunk as fuck.
Also when I lived with her before I went to see HTS I smoked meth day and night and made her cry a lot.
