   With her innocent looks and a cute hairstyle, Cheng Lu may appear like a doll-faced girl in a comic book.
   
   But the 21-year-old student from China has stunned millions of web users with her super muscular physique.
   
   The petite 5ft 1in fitness fanatic can squat lift 120 kilograms (264.5 pounds). That's more than twice her body weight.
   
   
   Ms Cheng, who is dubbed 'King Kong Barbie', broadcasts her twice-a-day exercise sessions on Chinese video platforms, including Kuaishou and Douyin.
   
   She has so far gathered around 300,000 followers on both popular outlets since she started live-streaming her gym routine about three months ago.
   
   Every day, thousands of people watch her doing squats, lifting weights and showcasing her muscles while wearing a corset.
   
   Ms Cheng, born in the city of Fushun, used to be shy.
   
   Like many girls and young women in China, she loves pink and often dresses in a 'kawaii', or cute, style.
   
   But her life was completely changed after one classmate took her to watch a bodybuilding competition when she was in secondary school.
   
   She told MailOnline: 'I thought the women in the competition were very beautiful. They displayed a different sense of beauty and looked very healthy. That game left a deep impression on me.'
   
   And that was why Ms Cheng picked the major of bodybuilding about a year and half ago after entering the Shenyang Sports College.
   
   She added: 'Traditionally, Chinese people think women should look weak to be beautiful, but who says we can't do things men can do, just like Mulan in the ancient times.'
