2019-03-28 at 11:38 AM UTCI bet your concussion stopped you from thinking clearly enough to do something about this. When you have a concussion youβre supposed to rest your brain with NO outside stimulus. You couldnβt have reported it if you wanted to.

It'd honestly have been one of the most sexually arousing scenes of my life if every one of them were women (because of my whole femdom kink thing).
But, I'd still pursue justice, and possibly even financial restitution, all the same. -

I want to kind of summarize that I made the sudden change of plans for rather complex reasons.
First off, getting justice, even if it's just an admission of guilt and temporary suspensions for the assholes all around, would feel like a blow for victim's rights against a tyrannical oppressor. It would give me a sense of justice that would help me see cops, and other authority figures, as actual forces of good intention.
Secondly, though, it actually hadn't even occurred to me that my recent discovery of some ridiculously exaggerated symptoms of ADHD pervading my life could very well be a direct result of the original assault.
One of the reasons they laid me off from my first developer job was because I had a hard time sticking with tasks. My results were exemplary, but rarely complete unless I had a dozen coworkers constantly looking over my shoulder.
On top of all that, I have actually had multiple people in my life tell me that I have definitely changed in some fundamental ways since the incident.
My next step is to get a referral to a neurologist for some neurological testing. Maybe they will find tangible evidence in the form of (f)MRI scans, or even neurocognitive latency tests to determine if my working memory / ability to focus for any sustained duration is all glitchy, thus resulting in me losing my train of thought dozens to hundreds of times a day. -
2019-03-28 at 12:44 PM UTCstory isnt consistent, at first you said "about five cops"
now you're saying it was five cops, all male
and a lot of detail you remembered there in the dialogue
remembering what was said back and forth between you and the cops when you said you were drunk and cant remember how you even met the dude -
2019-03-28 at 12:46 PM UTClolol... that's because the story is fabricated, grylls... nice detective work however.π

That's textbook victim blaming.
Do you also subscribe to the notion that if a woman is forcibly raped but can't remember the details, no crime took place?
We'll have rapists jam packing senior citizen's homes, hospices, and degenerative brain disease wards in hospitals over this seemingly brilliant loophole...
Missing any specific details about the event? Crime couldn't possibly have happened.

2019-03-28 at 1:30 PM UTCAnd I have to add that I am always incredibly flattered when I am accused of completely fabricating such deeply elaborate charades, complete with some of the most realistic special effects and photoshopping (to add the injuries in the photos).
Just wait until I upload the E.R. doc's admission notes and the X-rays.
You have to admit, my commitment to the bit (assuming it's entirely faked), demonstrates more dedication and attention to detail than a box office Hollywood hit. -

2019-03-28 at 1:37 PM UTCAlso, popo station gave me a police file number from that night when I popped in yesterday.
Unfortunately, I can't read it myself, but I was plenty surprised to discover that they even wrote up anything.
I asked them why they didn't cuff me and haul me back to the station if I was guilty of something. Heck, I even tacked on the follow up question of why they didn't even consider calling an ambulance when they saw me in such a condition? (If five non-mentally-retarded adults, let alone trained police officers, can't detect an unconscious and concussed assault victim, nor do they feel the multiple distinct gaping wounds seeping with blood warrant even a basic first aid assessment, they are clearly avoiding cleaning up their own mess).
The cops in my local precinct just said "we can't comment on standard procedure in a different jurisdiction."

So if you saw one civilian being pummeled unrelentingly by another civilian while five police officers stood idly by, you'd just look the other way and pretend you didn't see it?
How is this even remotely taking the high road?
If anything, it's merely an admission of pure cowardice.
And then there's the whole gentrification element you slipped in there. Like wtf? Walk through poor neighbourhood ==> get robbed ==> no crime occured because those autonomous poor folk have absolutely no sense of morality whatsoever?
Impoverished people are not ravenous wolves, for crying out loud. -
2019-03-28 at 2:09 PM UTCPerhaps there's information you're missing, Op... perhaps you don't know all sides of the story.π
