Who drives a car with Lane-Keeping assist, automatic stop and go for traffic jams, adaptive cruise, or collistion avoidance / braking assist?

    IMPRESSIONS?

I never have no. My dad's '15 Sierra has something that can tell like if you aren't paying attention to the road or something though, and it tells you to

PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD where the digital tachometer is supposed to be and you have to tap the meter with your finger while you're driving so you can see how freakin' fast you're going. It's really annoying.

Does you have those features on your car Pill? I’m curious if they ever engage when you don’t want it to? Can you override the features?

As far as I know my '18 civic doesn't have any driving assists other than TCS

They probably thought "in this day and age, anybody that wants a stick shift is probably not stupid enough to text and drive"

Well my recently written off car did have it and I had it disabled. if you even swerved or crossed lanes or got to close anything the fucking things siren would go off. I personally loved it when i got under three car lengths behind the car in front of me and it would go insane.

I have never had an issue with Stability and brake distribution functions but with those features and abs took a toll on the brakes. I only got 20 k on pads rotors and calipers and the rear got 25 k

Even though I believe that the original content of this post was true, I am redacting it because I'm too lazy to argue about it

I think all that shit going off would be pretty distracting.

TCS is wasted on an FF.

All that shit is one of the reasons why I quit working on new cars.
That stuff works fine but if you get in an accident resetting and calibrating it is a pain in the ass.

I can't cope without ABS. Brake lock ups are scary.

I wish you could turn ABS off with a button or something. Yeah, being able to steer is important, but sometimes you need to fucking STOP.

Driving a rear wheel drive pickup in the winter is fun as hell.

idk, i kind of appreciate it.

the dont plow the streets for crap here, and winter lasts like 6-7 months. I have (well, might not anymore if its deemed totaled) a honda civic which has terrible clearance and doesn't do well at all in the snow. Makes me want to look for like an AWD crossover (as much as I depise those putrid things) or maybe one of those new AWD cars on like volvos and suburus.
