Anybody ever get a real cognitive effect from fish oil?

2019-03-21 at 9:39 PM UTCI have some high DHA stuff but I've never taken it for long enough to notice, I think.
I can take 3g parachutes, but these things are fucking annoying for some reason and I hate taking them. Is it worth continuing? -
2019-03-21 at 9:40 PM UTCI guess Lanny's duplicate post blocking doesn't work on threads.
Ignore this one, post in the other one. -

2019-03-22 at 12:53 AM UTCNot that I noticed. But in fairness I never noticed an effect from nootropics either. Maybe my noticing is just wrong.
I do notice that SSRIs and assorted stimulants at the right, moderate dosages help. -

What have you tried? They can be iffy for me, but some work every time like phenylpiracetam.
How long did you take fish oil for? I hear it takes 30-60 days for it to be effective. -

Cod Liver oil, which is generally good. Everyone should be on this, though I generally don't bother.
DHEA - had to buy this in Northern Ireland, as our brave Doctors down here have made it prescription only in order to keep us safe - which means, in reality, illegal, since no Doctor knows what it does and none of them will prescribe it easily. Noticed no effect after taking this for like a week or whatever.
Mussel Oil - no idea what this is supposed to do or what it did.
Like I said, I'm not an ideal experimental candidate. -

Cod liver oil is more expensive I think. Or less. I don't remember.
I hear krill oil has a very great DHA/EPA ratio, but it's expensive as fuck right now. I'm hoping it gets cheaper. Quality fish oil is expensive enough. -
2019-03-22 at 4:32 AM UTCI hear fish oil smells like pussy oil.

>assorted stimulants
like what, yohimbine, ephedrine, caffeine?
or like, amphetamine, d-deprenyl (YES IT EXISTS AND ITS GLORIOUS) -
2019-03-22 at 1:30 PM UTCPhenylpiracetam+citicoline are the only nootropics that work for me so far
Also flmodafinil works great, but I don't consider that a nootropic as much as a classical stimulant
