2019-03-21 at 2:55 AM UTCSo I have this friend whom I met through my ex roommate, and since I live in a first floor apartment, I get a lot of her (ex roommate's) friends dropping by and tapping on my rear window.
This one guy is an alright dude. So when he drops by, we usually smoke a few bowls of meth (I rarely do it, basically only with him roughly once a month).
But anyway, the dude LITERALLY does not stop talking. He gets into really personal details about his life, and talks about this invisible character called "Ghost Goof" that's stalking him, and about people reading his minds.
I always thought that was just some TV trope / stereotype stuff.
Is it actually a common thing? -

One thing I've noticed smoking meth with people is it usually doesn't bring out their best side and just makes people into hallowed speed demon versions of themselves, it's sad. I used to hang out with this homeless hooker a lot that just liked to smoke weed and chill but when she smoked meth she would hallucinate really bad and stay up for a week and believe she works for a pimp mafia and rack up lots of drug debts and have to whore herself out to pay them off.
Also Robert he worked at Loblaws grocery store and was a manager but he would just snort meth and freestyle rap constantly, I mean it's kind of cool I guess but the dude literally does nothing except raps 24/7 whenever he is high even at Tim Hortons at 4am with people all around.

No face tat. In fact, other than being addicted meth and experiencing intermittent bouts of homelessness, he fits very few of the traits I see in most meth addicts. Zero tattoos, super nice and friendly, very non violent, and refuses to break the law to support his addiction.
Heck, he even voluntarily cleans parking lots at night just because.
He's kind of an anomaly. If I could get him to shut up from to time, he'd be great to have around more often. -

Yeah I've seen some people do total 180's.
This guy doesn't get evil or mean in any way though, just talks a mile a minute, and often about paranoid delusions that I can't respond to without outright telling him he's (in all likelihood) wrong.

Yeah Robert is hardcore BAD AND EVIL MEETS EVIL AND BAD, he stole all my shit, my work laptop with bitcoins and a video game I was working on. I was the only one who supported his music and watched his facebook livestreams where he freestyles and I would blaze him and give him meth for hooking me up with dealers and he fucked me over.

It might very well be a common thing. I'm not exactly known for being gifted in the social skills department (when sober, at least), so I empathize with the guy.
It's why I still hang out with him even though I legit hang out with nobody these days. But he's a decent dude and his only crime is that he speaks his mind a bit more than most people are comfortable with.
But man, I had to pop a Xanax and crack open the liquor about 10 minutes into his visit. -

Sure and I get that everyone drunk does that to some extent in a perpetual basis maybe but I mean on a case by case basis I feel like I have to 3zplain jokes that don't need explaining but in talking to strangers that suck ass. People who get me , get me . I'm really not that complicated. -

You are pretty genuine. And that's a good quality.
I suppose, much like.most things in life, there's a happy medium somewhere between two extremes. I can be a bit fake at times if I feel like it will get me into people's better books. You and my friend mentioned in the OP are unafraid of being real. I can learn something from that. -

Dont start saying things you can't take back. You're very real m8. I think you know that. You do. I dont think that. It's funny how you didnt post ar length for two days and it seemed dramatic like something was wrong. Its good you still have that going. Highs and lows. I have been unintentionally working at digressing. I can go a week now without people wondering. Maybe i can do two weeks next time. And then maybe the next time, I slip away, and nobody remembers. Whatever your ultimate thesis was, I gather that there's a certain yearning there for legitimate social interaction.
The funny thing is that technology has progressed to a point that our biological brains just can't keep up right, so online interactions satisfy our need for social interaction, but only up to a point (and that applies to all of us).
Just so you know, when I think of NiS, you are among the first few that pop into my mind.
I still remember when, back a few months or longer ago, you had that clown gif that did the weird smile. Then you had the white fluffy dog. You're on my radar around here and pretty high up there.
AND... I'm still gonna do your word cloud. I just finished archiving every post on the site, and I am almost done parsing the HTML so that I can extract posts one by one, and sort them by user/poster. I promised both you and Panny I would make a word cloud, and that promise has never once slipped my mind.
Very soon, I promise. I just have to dust off the script I wrote to analyze infinityshock posts (not even because I like him, but because I just knew he'd have the most ridiculous word cloud of anyone on here). -
