Thanksgiving is fundamentally about capitalism. When the settlers came to Plymouth Rock and shit they had central grain stores and the Governor basically gave the the grain and other food items out, like socialism. Guess what happened next? Everyone starved to death. So then the Governor said: Let's let everyone have their own land and keep what they sow and harvest. Guess what happened next? They had so much grain and corn and what ever the fuck they were farming they had to export the stuff. You know what that is called? Property rights and capitalism. Hunger was never to return again.
The injuns had nothing to do with it.
Then somewhere in the 1800's it became a national holiday in murica. Eat a turkey nigger, celebrate capitalism, you have a lot to be thankful about.
