The 16:9 video watching normie audience has moved on to tablets and phablets.
Laptops are now once again productivity devices, or even if you're web browsing, you likely are doing so on a laptop rather than your phone or my ass because you want a desktop experience.
A 4:3 screen will give you more vertical space in a similar footprint. You also have more Z axis space on the lower half, so you can put more functionality, squarer keys and a larger trackpad, and maybe even include a trackpoint setup. You will be able to see more vertical information while browsing niggasin too.
Stop making faggot ass chiclet keyboards. Stop making 16:9 screened laptops.

I would do a shuffle stack of windows on 4:3s, slightly overlapping side by side so I could just click over to the other one.
