Honestly, I can't stand vodka.
I think it's just because when I was a lot younger and first starting drinking, it was ALWAYS the go to liquor.
Especially with my Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian friends.
One day I was like "nuh uh, y'all get your potato spirits, I'm drinking either beer or cider."
These days the only spirits I drink are single malt Scotch (when I can afford it / on occasion).
Other than that, it's either beer, cider, or sometimes wine.
No vodka.

I have a question for the vodka folks in here...
Is there a discernible difference between, say, Smirnoff and Greygoose?
There's a substantial price disparity, so I imagine there must be a difference.
But since I don't much care for vodka, it all just tastes the same to me.
I can definitely distinguish between a low-end, blended, non-aged Scotch and an aged single malt.
Is it the same kind of thing with Vodka?

Stoli is the best one I tried. It doesn't have any windex-like taste like gay goose and most others, it tastes, I don't know... "clean" & "smooth" with the normal alcohol burn.

Back in Iowa we used to drink BD Whisky and some brand of vodka I don't remember, each of them as dirt cheap as possible.
BD is actually pretty good even though it's like the cheapest shit there is. I like whisky either drowned in coke, or basically just straight. I've only had plain vodka like a couple times when I was already drunk. It seems like it'd be up my alley though because I don't really like all the spice liquor tends to have in it. Mixes with everything
Oh yeah, nvm, I remember. Wait no, that's rum.
