Buy a PS4 like the cool kids. I have only plaid Heavy Rain from the games mentioned and it was overrated. Still a good time, though.
The Witcher 3. Best game ever. Was developed for PC and ported to consoles. It was bitch before it got patched because the inventory was tiny on my 50" screen, 4m away from the screen.
Play that instead. It shits over all other games.

Yeah, the short stories and then books it's based on were written in Polish, I'm actually reading the collected short stories now. CDPR's HQ is in Warsaw, considered sending them my resume a few times. You see Polish pop up a few places even in translation, "leshens", the translation of "leshey" apparently just means "of the forest" or "forest thing" in Polish.
Anyway, I play a light armor/fast attack build and lean heavily on quen for survivability. Hopping around in combat dodging everything is so satisfying it's nuts.

I haven't read any of the books because I don't like fantasy novels but I think I'll buy myself the collection for Christmas and see what that old Polak has to offer.

I remember playing the second game and I had just read or watched something recently and was all like "maaan, I want some heavy ass bulky armor", there are like 20 different characters walking around in heavy plate with some really cool designs but heaviest thing you could wear was like studded leather. That was bullshit.
Then 3 rolls around and ursine armor doesn't work with my build. sigh

My Ursine armor counts as Medium with the runes from the expansion plus the Griffin School perk that gives me I don't know what sign intensity per medium armor piece I wear. I got like 245% Sign Intensity. Quen'd to the max. 700 Yrden Damage plus 100% chance of burning.
I'd love to PvP in this game. I'd quit my job and do that.
