gay people are what like %3 of people? it was a bit much.
I honestly HATE gay people in media. 99% of the time it is forced and unnatural.
A good example would be that black thug Omar nigger from The Wire. You know the one who whistles when he robs people? It was such a non issue in the show. He was just a gay thug. That's it. He didn't act like a frilly faggot. I can't stand people who talk with that falsetto voice and are all 'omg girl u look fineee' -
2019-03-05 at 11:29 PM UTCI don’t have an issue with gay characters.
If I remember correctly there were three out of maybe 15-20 or so characters in the first season. I guess if it tweeks your sensibilities then, yeah, don’t watch?
Otherwise, if you like money laundering/drug cartel dramas, then it’s an excellent show that’s very well scripted and acted.

The best part of Netflix is scrolling through the options tho.
At least, that's what I spend most of my time doing. -

2019-03-06 at 12:50 AM UTCIt seems a lot of girls like "Queen of the South". I think it's more the awakening or evolution from "vulnerable girl to headstrong woman" that draw them to it. That's why they are blind to the horse shit storyline cause of their feminist lesbianism.
Aside from the protagonist's rise from drug mule to narco queen we have the main baddies' storylines that try to fill in the gaps between bloody shoot outs and drug busts. A disillusioned cartel queen at war with her husband who is also a cartel leader (very realistic....). Tit for tat near death situations that don't claim the lives of intended targets cause of course, they're man and wife and still love each other. Overall I did not enjoy.
I am however enjoying Hannibal despite my reluctance at first to start watching it.
Good suggestion Myers. -

X files is good but before being able to find out what happened in the end my friend ruined it.
Basically the top government guys give their children to paedophile aliens hence Samantha's abduction. I will watch them all again at some point.
Black mirror is a great series but it's like getting the shit endings in Heavy Rain or Silent Hill, (which I always did). -

Some of the things I've seen on the show are still embedded in my mind. It's worth a watch. Watch the first season, and decide if you want to watch the rest. I can guarantee you that you will. It is without a doubt the darkest and grittiest television show I've seen, next to True Detective. -

Ignore my previous post, I didn't read the last few paragraphs. I'm glad you're digging it! It's one of my all time favorite shows. What episode are you on right now? -

Originally posted by Octavian OK just started watching, so far so good. They've done a complete turnaround on the Will Graham character. He wasn't an Autistic recluse in the books/ films but I can live with that. It seems today's crime dramas have made use of Autism in a good light.
He also didn't have a good jawline, from what I remember. Alas, sometimes change can be good. Keeps things fresh, y'know. -
