    I don't envy you, being in Edmonton and all.

    Vancouver's bad enough.

    But I know Edmonton (and much of the rest of Canada) are a lot worse.

    I used to live in Ottawa and Winter's there were absolutely brutal.

    Most of Canada sucks.

    Vancouver, and surrounding areas, are absolutely perfect.

    Well, minus the cold. But the cold (and expensive real estate) are a relatively small price to pay.

    Nil, why are you walking for two hours? Is there really no public transport to the city? I'm like an hour by car from the nearest city but taking the train is only like 7 bucks. Gotta be a bus or something you can take. If not, you can always hitchhike (depending on your area)

    Hitchhiking made me realize that I've got all the power to travel anywhere I want, at any time, and it is a good power.

    I live outside the ring road, 15 min drive into the city. I made a really bad choice buying this pickup yesterday and have really fucked myself due to not being diligent. I made the walk before and sometimes people stop which is cool but I always expect the worst. The walk would be to get to the LRT.

    I just talked to my neighbor though and she said she'll give me a lift so it's all good for now. Just need to figure out how to get a compressor and some baseboards to the site.
