In terms of ABMs, several countries that do not fall under US hegemony have developed classes ICBMs and SLBMs that cannot feasibly, let alone reliably, be intercepted by western missile defences, so space-based platforms are being considered logical progression.

In terms of ASATs, it would be trivial for Russia or China to destroy the GPS network in case of serious conflict, and the result would be that US (and much of Europe, israel etc. because they inherited the same operational paradigms) forces would be thrown into disarray - many munitions such as cruise missiles and attack drones would be either completely unusable or have their capabilities hamstrung.

As I mentioned earlier, the primary goal is another arms race. Defensive anti-missile systems (and the inevitable offensive systems, like the old 'Rods from God' design) would have to be designed from the ground up, opening entire new markets and supply chains for weapons contractors, regardless of the extent that adversaries participate.

The world is shifting - the only reason that the US got into the position of hegemon was that they entered into WWII after every other major industrial country had its industrial capacity and population decimated. In short, other countries have now caught up and the shift to a multipolar world is inevitable. The wise thing to do would be to prepare for that world, but the US leadership is instead trying to thrash against it… It's just going to make the fall all the more brutal.

This has played out with every Empire that has ever existed...none of which exist anymore.

I wonder if we'll stop trying it someday

american economy wont be sustainable in a multipolar world, therefore it must try everything in its power to maintain status quo.

the moment that status quo is broken is the start of american economic shrunkage, if not collapse.

Satellites are partly how people are tracked and their minds are remotely probed and controlled. In the US we have the National Quiet Zone. No cell phones allowed, no walkie talkies. The reason is because they have these large radio telescopes there, and they can't have any interference. Well, in space there isn't really much interference at all. Just point your satellite based radio telescope at a certain point on earth, and you can pick up all the signals you need, including human brain-waves. It's like van eck phreaking, only it's the human brain your SDR is pointed at. The human brain, every thought or emotion, produces RFI that can be decoded and used to borrow a persons' eyes, ears, or any other sense.

Super computer scripts that are ground-based can utilize regular laptops, smartphones or cell towers to pulse encoded messages into the cochlea of a person on a subconscious level. It's encoded so that if you tried to record any of it, you don't know the language that the computer brain interface has created, so playing the recording reveals very little.

Brain-waves are easily entrained, so pulsed waves of a specific frequency, vibrating the cochlea or creating an electromagnetic field in another part of the brain, can look like just a bunch of radio pulses, but if the brain is entrained, it remembers that it's code for something, such as the word "CAT", and the brain interprets it as hearing the word 'cat'. So if a person hears, whether consciously or below the conscious level, the word "Cat", their EEG fingerprint determines that their brain will light up with a very specific RFI based on hearing that or receiving that information, and it's like a beacon. Their position can be pinpointed based entirely on something as simple as that.

Anyone else who hasn't been entrained to that specific frequency and form of encoding won't hear it, won't notice anything.

It's pretty easy to get someone's EEG remotely with these methods, so the entire brain can be mapped, the memory read, and the active memory altered in real time before the person even begins to suspect anything is different.

That's why it makes sense that space is being weaponized, and if the US weren't doing this stuff, some other country would be. I'd like to see all their satellites shot down in a way but someone else would be doing the same thing so what's the point.

That is exactly what I'm getting at; it'll be a lot less painful for everyone if they move towards being able to operate in a multipolar world; the more resources they throw in front of the train the less they'll have to work with when it hits

    no it cant.

america is a bubble of its own creation and i think it has reached the point of no return, if it loses leadership its going to end up like a cop that get sent to jail.

so they have to throw in everything they got and do it total kreigg style.
