    I actually first TRIED heroin in 2005 (while I was with her; she was not present at the time... she was kinda straightedge, other than drinking at clubs and parties and stuff). But that was a one time thing. I didn't start using with any regularity until 2010.

    I was drinking daily, though.

    Actually, the closest I came to a relationship after that was halted dead in its tracks due to the heroin thing (according to her, at least).

    Yeah, not sure if I could handle it with a new relationship. If my man started using after we were together, I’d stay by him. I’m sure it would be difficult tho.

    Very few people overcome an addiction like that.

    The two people I did heroin with back in 2005... NONE OF US had tried it yet...

    We got a bag (can't remember how much) and pulled out some tin foil and half a plastic bottle (for easier smoke capture)...

    They both ended up throwing up (very common side effect with opiates).

    I liked it, they didn't.

    15 years later, they're both daily IV heroin users, and I don't even take so much as a tylenol 3 (codeine) for a tooth ache.

    Kinda strange how that turned out.

    Although, in full disclosure, they actually were always more into stimulants than opiates.

    They only recently started adding heroin to a shot because it gives it some extra kick.

    Tolerance is a bitch when you're a daily IV user (of just about any drug).
