   However, India's total land area is about 1.25 million square miles, whereas China is 3.75 million square miles. Folks, which nation's residents are moreso 'packed in tight like sardines?'

   India is pretty habitable, whereas China's population is heavily concentrated along the Eastern seaboard.
   
   OTOH China's population is steady and near decreasing (though they keep finding more people in rural areas), while India's increases by more than 20 million every year.
   
   I did the maths once a while ago and worked out that a nuclear war with Pakistan would only set India's population back by about 15-20 years.
   
   Anyway the solution to poverty and overcrowding in India, the Middle East and Africa is just to move all those people to America and Canada, where they can claim welfare.
