Great question,mom... I would only do so if it was a self-perceived extreme situation..i.e, to cover up or alter a massive deformity, etc... anything that would be considered normal aging, or 'wear or tear', i would leave alone.
Whether it's right or wrong, I tend to think that Hollywooders, and other folks who consistently get minor aesthetical procedures done, to primarily reduce perceived natural aging, to be excessively vain and shallow.
