    this is one of my favorite horror movies, anyone else going to go see it? when i was a kid there was "my buddy and me" its kind of disturbing on another level like... you're mother telling you the reason why she wont buy you toys bcause brian james's mother isn't there for him so she buys him toys and a little boy to get him out of her hair lol

    I was one of those fools who was under the impression the Blair Witch project was real, as was everyone else in the theater who was there to see it when I went...at the end everyone shuffled out in stunned silence. I felt so gypped when later on I found it it was all a rouse.

    Yeah me too but in my defense I was like 12 or 13 and nothing had been said about it being fake. I just remember the trailer giving me chills and my dad surprised me asking me if I wanted to go and I was so excited and nervous. The running through the woods scenes and the end scenes genuinely scared the hell out of me, again that much more so because I thought it was all legit. It's still one of my favorite horror films

    Aye when I went to see it (pretty much when it came out) it had been marketed as being real and being one of the first "found footage" movies there wasn't anything I'd seen disputing that statement/marketing. If I recall the director/boss had a gag order on the actual actors for 6 months or something.
