There's been about 30 national emergencies in effect for 40 years. By now it's governance through national emergencies. If anything they get used to erode American's rights and civil liberties.
I was with Trump 100% before the election but his actions have since proven he's part of the swamp. And yeah, remember the multi billion omnibus spending bill? If i recall there was only a couple million allotted for the maintenance of the border fence.

In FY 2018 total US government spending on welfare — federal, state, and local — was “guesstimated” to be $1,091 billion, including $642 billion for Medicaid, and $449 billion in other welfare.
That runs to $21.15 billion...A WEEK.
